11 × 17 inch (tabloid or ledger) graph paper gives you twice the area of a Letter sheet — enough for full floor plans, large charts and wide diagrams. With 1/4 inch squares and 10 mm margins, the grid is 40 × 64 squares.

Can I print 11x17 graph paper on a normal printer?

Only if it supports tabloid paper. Otherwise, download the PDF and print it at a copy shop, or choose Letter and switch to landscape.

Is 11x17 the same as A3?

They are close but not the same: 11 × 17 in is 279 × 432 mm, while A3 is 297 × 420 mm. Pick the size that matches your paper.
