Blank Sheet Music (Music Staff Paper)

Staff paper, also called manuscript paper or blank sheet music, is printed with five-line staves for writing music by hand. Choose how many staves you want on each page: 12 is the standard for general composing, while 8 or 6 gives larger staves that are easier for beginners and young students.

How many staves are on standard sheet music paper?

Most manuscript paper has 10 or 12 staves per page. Beginners' staff paper usually has fewer, larger staves — 6 or 8.

Can I make piano (grand staff) paper?

Choose an even number of staves and pair them as treble and bass. A dedicated grand staff layout with braces is not available yet.
